Hot Wheels is committed to protecting our enviroment. An increase in cycling for transport will reduce single car usage and reduce ommissions. There is much more we can do as a company to help and we are just at the start of our journey, but keep an eye on this section of our site and we will try to keep you updated with improvemnts.

• Hot Wheels encourages its employees to cycle to work by providing covered cycle parking and shower facilities. Currently 8 of the companies 21 office based staff regularly cycle to work.

• Hot wheels requested an Envirowise survey to provide an assessment of the businesses environmental impact. Results from the survey were generally positive and the owners of Hot Wheels will study the report in detail to see where improvements can be made.

• Hot Wheels already encourages recycling of paper from the office as well as scrap metal from the warranty department. Alloy and steel components are sorted and taken to a local recycling centre.

• Hot Wheels installed 1 watt LED spot lights in its office, removing the obsolete 50 watt lights in January 2007.

• Hotwheels are the appointed Cycle Supplier to Center Parcs, who recycle the bikes we supply via the Inside Out Trust and Jolly Rider Charities at the end of their life by refurbishing and re-commissioning in third world countries.
